Well I finished the next book on the pile last Thursday and it was well worth my time and at about 260 pages it was a pretty quick read. Made to Stick by Chip and Dan Heath is about crafting ideas, messages and advertisement to get maximum response. To be such a great book there are so few highlights that I don’t event want to post them. They don’t seem to make any sense out of context. So here’s a modified “back of the book” and I definitely recommend it. Made to Stick
What Sticks? Whether a CEO or full time mom you’ve got ideas that you need to communicate: a new product coming to market, a strategy you want to sell your boss, values you are trying to instill in your children. but it’s hard- fiendishly so- to transform the way people think and act. In this book, you’ll learn the six key qualities of an idea that is made to stick.
Simplicity, Unexpectedness, Concreteness, Credibility, Emotional, Stories.
There you go. Off to the next great book!
Proverbs 15:28
The heart of the righteous gstudies how to answer,
But the mouth of the wicked pours forth evil.
